Hi,
 
I dont understand why you are having a meal some days and not others? There is a diet to follow, you follow it daily. I haven't checked your meals to the original list, but I'll assume you have matched them correctly. 8lb seems ludicrously high in a meal though?
 
2 hours at the gym is far too much, especially on Keto. So if you are exceeding that you will be counter productive. You cannot accurately asses how many calories you burn at the gym without a lot more testing than the basic machine calculation, so best to ignore it. 
 
You can try reducing carbs further, swap out the Peanut Butter for EVOO in all meals. What is going in your salad? You still need to be careful of some greens. Are you on an isolate or blend whey?
 
How often are you having a cheat meal, any restrictions on it currently?

I mean 8ozs not 8lbs, sorry for the mistype.
And the diet said you could replace a meal with whole eggs and egg whites with a whey protein shake and peanut butter.
 
The 2 hours at the gym is because I would take breaks between each super set.
 
For salad I am having 1tbs olive oil, then I add some vinegar too it.  Its only green leafs of salad in it.
 
I am using the gold standard whey protein(an isolate).  I have two scoops with water (about 50grams protein)
 
My cheat meals have not been very extensive.  Usually  I like to have an apple walnut salad with maybe blue cheese.  A steak or chicken.  Then a side of  carbs.
My last cheat meal on Wednesday, I had two chicken fingers(larger than normal chicken fingers) with honey mustard and some fries.
 
Other things:  I eat 93% lean beef.  I just recently started putting Worcestershire sauce on my beef patties, but this was after I hit the plateau anyway.
I use a lot of soy sauce for my tuna meal.

7% fat is probably a bit low for a keto diet. Remember fat's are a good thing.
 
Your cheats sound a bit tame, perhaps try having a real cheat and see how you go from there. How often do you cheat?
 
'My diet has been about 5-6 meals a day' This is flawed. On keto your diet is a set amount of meals a day every day. None negotiable (apart from cheat day maybe).

Just some advice for anyone starting this or doing it second time around. Take things in the gym nice and slowly.
 
I did very littel cardio first time round until 6 weeks in (i had dropped 24lbs by this stage) and then dropped another 9lbs in 3 weeks with the cardio. I felt great and looked great.
 
Next time round I did full keto (same as this without the cheat meal on day 14) and lost 24lbs in 28days two years ago on december before a bulk. Again I did weights daily and after the first two weeks I did cardio every other day for 30 mins.
 
So far so good right?
 
Ok so fast forward a year and I did the diet for 4 weeks and lost 8lbs............ what was the difference? I did cardio every day for an hour, sometimes double sessions from day one of the det. I stuck to the 6 fees for the 185lber (im 200-210 most of the time) and I did weight "when I could be arsed" which was due to a small niggle in my shoulder and laziness.
 
So the message is to ensure you weight train, don't over do the cardio and don't over think the diet -- also google search for "squishy fat versus wooshy fat" which is an excellatn article on how TOO MUCH cardio can be detrimental when on a keto and/or calorie restricted diet :-)

Just a quick question. Is it ok to use taurine on the keto diet? Im thinking of adding some clen in at some point and I know taurine helps with the cramps.

Just to double check, if I wanted a lighter breakfast and saved some of the eggs to have with my evening "fatty protein" meal would this make a difference or is it ok to mix up the meals as long as at the end of the day you have consumed all of the food listed.

Got his off a bb m8 and works for him.
meal 1
3 whole eggs 3 bacon
meal 2
70gr chicken breast
25gr hard cheese
20ml oil evoo
meal 3
pork chop or steak
50gr cheese
10ml oil
meal 4
70gr chicken
50 cheese
1 egg
10ml oil
meal 5
as meal 3
meal 6
as meal 1 or a casian shake with oil
 
 
 
What u guys think of this ? its for a 15st 8lb guy

Well I'm back on it again.
 
I did pretty well on it last year, but had the last 4 months off the gym due to family and financial reasons.  seems like my diet goes out the window if I'm not training.
 
So 3 months on this then I'll probably go to Papa Lazarou (Team Wild) for a diet plan for building lean muscle mass, as I tend to over eat if not on a strict plan.

Hi guys,
 
I'm going to follow the 176lb diet which is as follows:
 
176lb natty bb at 11-12%bf   
Meal #1: 4 whole omega-3 eggs with 4 extra egg-whites.   
Meal #2: 200g chicken with 1/3 cup raw almonds.   
Meal #3: 40g whey protein with 1 tablespoon all natural peanut butter.   
Meal #4: 200g red meat or salmon with 1 cup asparagus.   
Meal #5: 40g whey protein with 1.5 tablespoons all natural peanut butter.   
Meal #6: same as meal #1.
 
My only question is; can I replace the last meal as I don't fancy eating 16 eggs a day? I also cannot get omega-3 eggs where I am so it will have to be standard ones, how will this affect my diet and supplementing with omega-3 caps?
 
I'm 180lbs at about 18% bodyfat, would I be better to drop to the 170lb diet?

As per the first page, you can supplement omega 3 eggs with normal eggs and omega 3 caps. I think everyone does this tbh.
 
I suppose you could swap it for another shake and some EVOO. You'll have to calculate the exact quantities of each yourself based on 4 eggs + 4 whites.
 
Hop on the 176lb diet. You are always better eating as much as you can get away with. I didn't change diet once in 3.5 months despite losing 20 odd lbs!

If I supplement the omega 3 eggs with omega 3 caps, should I still use the eight eggs (four whole and four whites)? How many omega 3 caps?
 
Should the meats weight be cooked, or is it uncooked weight? I've seen both indicated.
 
Also is it ok to use the walden farms stuff everyday (just a little bit of the 0 calorie/carb sauce)?

Yes use the same amount of eggs. I can't remember how many caps. 6 sounds familiar but pass. I'm sure it's listed near the start though.
 
I used raw weight for the meats and it worked for me.

ive always used raw wieghts too.
 
AAron if you sauce has zero carbs in it it should be fine. I peronally use franks buffalo sauce just for a little taste. It has about 0.2g carbs per 10g.
 
Started the 200lb diet 2 weeks back and manged to put 2.5lbs on
Now ive switched to the 185lb diet and things are moving in the right direction

I've started and can see progress already within two weeks. Just one last question, I tried having mince this week for my protien fatty meal, but I'm not sure if the fat content is too high, it's 15g fat per 100g so 30g fat for a 200g portion. Should I try and go for leaner mince? I can get a 12g fat per 100g type (that's all I can get where I live).
